**Structure**

This role sits within the broader Corporate Development and FP&A team and will report to the head of the department.

**Responsibilities**
- This FP&A role stretches beyond financial analysis and you will be expected to connect the dots across financial and non-financial metrics across the organization
- Your sharp critical thinking and business acumen will be constantly tested in a fast-moving environment, with new learnings, new sets of data, and new patterns emerging as the business progresses rapidly
- Finance and accounting knowledge remains fundamental to the role, as you will be expected to deep-dive on financials and liaise with the accounting team where required
- You will take the lead on efforts toward the understanding and analysis of metrics while originating ideas and observations. This role goes beyond crunching numbers, as you will be expected to add value by generating actionable insights, e.g. areas of opportunity for optimisations, or areas of concern that they need to pay greater attention to and address, backed up by trend analysis, variance analysis, or other data-driven insights
- Significant levels of engagement and collaboration will be required with company leaders, budget owners, sales operations, accounting, etc
- Building models and working with datasets will form a significant part of this job, while developing presentation material may also be required
- As the role sits within the broader Corporate Development and FP&A team, you may be involved with corporate development (deal related) work as required

**Requirements**:

- Passion for (and preferably experience in) engaging in a fast-paced startup, with the ability to sustain and thrive in VUCA environments.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting concepts, via an appropriate educational background or prior experience.
- Keen eye for financial trends, movements, and deviations, and ability to connect numbers with business reality.
- Cross-functional team player with a proactive attitude in engaging and aligning stakeholders.
- Able dive into details while still zooming out to see the big picture, depending on context and audience
- Impeccable communication skills: concise and effective
- Resourceful mentality and able to seek answers independently
