Providing fund accounting and administration services to limited partners, including Net Asset Value (NAV) preparation and review & investment transactions input and review
- Preparing the funds’ periodic Net Asset Value calculation and reviewing other fund related reports
- Handling daily activity for funds’ investment transactions (capital calls & distributions)
- Providing midday and end-of-day reporting to client via dashboard, custody cash recon, & cash projection reports
- Taking care of the day-to-day operations of funds and following up with fund managers
- Reviewing of above deliverables input by other team members
- Resolve issues/queries raised by the client in a timely manner and maintain a high level of client satisfaction and retention; Research past valuation & transaction history to solve client queries
- Handling of initial setup of any new funds, assisting with client onboardings and new functions taken on, and liaising with client and other related parties involved as part of the set up process, handling liquidation bookings
- Primary contact to client on daily operational, issue discussion and any request may have.
- Ensure that all client deliverables are on time and meet set quality standards
- Attend meetings with business partners and provide information and discussion points and action those items; active participation & understanding required
- End of month reporting such as Fund Manager Recon & End of Month Nav file
- Pro-actively take on additional responsibilities and tasks as required from time-to-time.
- Train and mentor junior team members as assigned
- Create, maintain, update procedures as required without manager prompt
- Adhere to controls and processes/procedures for the purpose of NAV computation
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory norms for fund accounting function for accounts managed
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of invoices for the client accounts managed
- Identify and highlight opportunities for internal process improvement and increase in efficiency

**Key Requirements**
- Have a minimum of 1-5 years progressive accounting/audit/fund administration experience in private equity
- Hold a university degree in Accounting, Mathematics, qualified accountant, or other relevant qualification preferred
- Be able to work independently and multi-task to meet deadlines
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral, written and presentation)
- Strong computer skills with strength in Microsoft Office products. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is an advantage
- Experience with accounting software (Investran) would be an advantage but not necessary.
- Actively demonstrate the ability to operate at a high level and develop and maintain client confidence in their current role
- Be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of funds, fund structures, fee calculations, trading strategies, financial instruments and fund offering documentation
