We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Lead, Sustainability, CSR & Philanthropy.**

**Principal Responsibilities**

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to take on the role of Vice President - Sustainability, CSR & Philanthropy at HSBC Life. This position is integral to our mission of fostering sustainable business practices and ensuring corporate responsibility in all aspects of our culture and operations.

This role requires a strategic thinker who is passionate about sustainability and has a proven track record in implementing effective CSR/philanthropic programs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, external stakeholders, and community partners to identify opportunities for positive impact and innovation in our sustainability strategies.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability, csr and philanthropic strategy for HSBC Life Singapore
- Ensure policies, sustainability statements, and practices are consistent and in line with HSBC Group and HSBC Global Insurance standards
- Foster a culture of sustainability through employee engagement programs that integrates sustainability into business operations and decision-making
- Lead and collaborate on sustainability projects / initiatives (e.g. carbon offsetting) that would allow us to support our carbon reduction goals
- Lead corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives to enhance community engagement and stakeholder relations
- Build partnerships with nonprofit organizations and other stakeholders to bolster philanthropic efforts and community impact
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of sustainability initiatives to measure effectiveness and areas for improvement
- Educate and engage employees on sustainability practices and the importance of Sustainability/ESG principles within the corporate culture
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Social Sciences, or related fields
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Sustainability, ESG, CSR, &/or philanthropy, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry
- Strong understanding of ESG reporting frameworks and sustainability standards
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive change and foster a culture of sustainability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders across a matrix organization
- Proven experience in project management, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passion for sustainability and corporate social responsibility, with a drive to influence positive change within the organization and the community
