**Position**: Emergency & Critical Care Veterinarian (Day/Night Shifts)

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate **Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) Veterinarian** to provide urgent medical attention to small animals and exotic pets facing trauma, toxicity, or acute illness. You’ll be responsible for performing examinations, diagnostics, emergency procedures, and creating effective treatment plans.

This role requires strong collaboration with ECC teammates and veterinary specialists, accurate medical documentation, and empathetic communication with pet owners. A high standard of care, strong ethics, and a commitment to ongoing development are essential.

**Reporting To**: Department Specialist
**Employment Type**: Full-Time

**Shifts**:

- **Day**: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (3-day work week including weekends and public holidays)
- **Night**: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (3-day work week including weekends and public holidays)

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Deliver emergency care during assigned shifts
- Participate in shift handover rounds
- Handle emergency consultations and follow-ups
- Conduct physical exams, perform diagnostics (e.g., TFAST, AFAST, CT, radiographs, bloodwork), and carry out emergency surgeries
- Stabilize critical cases such as trauma and poisoning
- Prescribe and administer appropriate medications and treatments
- Work closely with support teams and veterinary specialists
- Clearly communicate treatment plans and updates to pet owners
- Maintain precise and thorough medical records
- Coordinate referrals and internal case transfers
- Remain composed and efficient during high caseloads
- Uphold ethical standards and clinical best practices
- Join ECC training sessions and continuing education programs

**Requirements**:

- At least 2 years of veterinary experience
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- ECC certification is advantageous
- Endoscopy/gastroscopy skills are a plus
- Veterinary degree must be recognized by the **Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) Singapore**

**Package**:

- **Salary**: SGD 7,000 - SGD 14,000 (commensurate with experience)
