We are seeking a veterinarian who will be a key member of our Veterinary Services team. You will leverage your knowledge and experience in the veterinary science field to deliver the best care to pets and an exceptional customer experience.
You are an advocate of prevention healthcare and desire to improve the quality of life of all pets through proactive holistic management of their health. You care intensely about the work you do and contributions you make to pet owners, partners and team members around you.
A summary of the key responsibilities and requirements are as follows:
**Responsibilities**:
- Practice veterinary medicine in a manner compliant with the Animal & Veterinary Service
- Deliver care to pets at a level that is in line with Spring Veterinary Care’s quality standards
- Collaborate harmoniously with clinic team, peers, leaders and affiliates
- Develop strong lasting relationships with pet parents and become a trusted partner
- Demonstrate integrity and ethics in all actions and behaviours
- Educate pet parents about prevention healthcare
- Mentor junior veterinarians, veterinary nurses, veterinary student externs and students
- Constantly strive to enhance quality of care
- Other relevant assigned duties
**Requirements**:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent degree
- Veterinary license in good standing or eligibility for licensure with the Animal & Veterinary Service
- 8+ years relevant professional veterinarian experience in a vet clinic or hospital setting
- Strong team player and excellent communication skills
- Passionate about mentoring and developing junior talents
- Genuine curiosity and desire to continuously learn and grow
