**Job Responsibilities
( 1 ) Business Development/New Venture
- Facilitate and develop business plans for both existing and new businesses.
- Supporting the BD activities of the Accuron Group and to source for business opportunities and insights.
- Facilitate and develop business plans for both existing and new businesses.
- Facilitate and support the end-to-end investment process into startups & SMEs, including,
- Deal origination and research,
- Deal evaluation, including strategic fit with Accuron Group,
- Financial modelling,
- Structuring and negotiations,
- Due diligence and
- Legal documentation
- To conduct business/ commercial and technology due diligence to assess the viability and potential of investment opportunities.
- Support Accuron's post-investment, including (and not limited to) identifying synergies & potential risks of integrating with existing companies, strategy, (re-)development, and operations support.

(2) Strategy and Operations
- Conduct specific industry studies to analyse major trends, opportunities, and threats, key players and competitors, benchmarking, and potential business implications.
- Support Corporate and Business Units (BUs) management's strategy development and growth planning with relevant data and insights.
- Hands-on approach for executing projects at the corporate or at BU level, including but not limited to ESG initiatives, media and marketing, customer engagement/insights, business partnerships, competitive new market strategy, and other ad-hoc assignments.

**Job Requirements**
- A bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in Engineering, Accountancy, Business Administration or Physical Sciences.; A Postgraduate degree in any field is advantageous.
- Has a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, strategic planning, corporate development roles or operations roles. Experience in Venture Capital, Private Equity or similar Investment firms would be an added advantage.
- Proven experience preparing briefing papers, reports, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Desired: (i) background in industries relevant to Accuron, demonstrating a deep understanding of the sector’s dynamics, challenges, and opportunities, and (ii) previous experience in business development or investment projects.
- Strategic thinking, project management and financial analysis skills with a good logical approach to problem-solving and excellent attention to details.
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team, showcasing self-motivation, initiative, and a collaborative and learning mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and is highly adaptable to shift focus and priorities to ensure that critical objectives are met.
