The mission of the Youth Preventive Service Group (YPS) of the Health Promotion Board (HPB) is to promote good health through early detection and intervention to reduce ill health among the school children. There are also upscale efforts to reduce obesity prevalence among Singapore students. The services provided by the Group include health and dental screening, immunisation, and lifestyle intervention programmes for the children and youth in Singapore.

You will be a part of the YPS Strategic Operations Department that drives the new work in cross-cutting operations to extract value from administrative optimization, reduce inefficiencies through waste elimination and improve service standards to achieve service and operation excellence.

**What You Can expect**

As a key member of the Strategic Operations Department, you will focus on business process re-engineering and development of digital solutions to improve operational efficiencies and customer service excellence. You will be the : primary point of contact for the above functions and provide support and guidance throughout the project development & implementation phases.

You are required to:

- Engage YPS business users to develop a deep understanding of work processes and translate the understanding to inform the digital product roadmap and requirements.
- Coordinate activities of cross-functional business teams in YPS to finalise process/workflows design and translate them into relevant digital features and workflows.
- Manage the various stages of development together with HPB’s Chief Information Office and appointed vendor to ensure all business requirements are taken into consideration and prepares status reports for management updates.
- Provide training and support to YPS business users on the new digital system and processes.
- Be the first point of contact to resolve any issues or problems that arise during the project implementation.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing and provide feedback to the IT team.
- Identify underlying trends and patterns in business data using statistical and computational techniques and tools to drive insights
- Perform other duties assigned when required.
- Good project management skills with experience in IT system implementation
- Hands-on operational experience in engaging and managing vendors, partners and stakeholders
- Proficient and comfortable with various statistical and computational techniques and tools to perform data analysis and provide insight on the trends and opportunities for growth areas
- Able to conduct literature research independently
- Exposure to design thinking or other tools to support innovation
- Has a pulse on customer satisfaction
- Able to work independently, takes initiative, think objectively and have strong ethical standards and high level of integrity to adhere to regulations and compliance
- Good written/ verbal communication skills, negotiation/influencing and conflict management skills
