As a Principal Engineer, Yield Intervention, you will drive problem solving for critical issues to ensure yield improvement and reduce lot hold on rate by deep dive on root cause finding via data analysis and provide solution in cooperation with the local teams/segments.

In your new role you will:

- Drive problem solving for critical issues to ensure **yield improvement and reduce lot hold on rate by deep dive on root cause finding via data analysis **and provide solution in cooperation with the local teams/segments.
- Act as **a technical expert in terms of Product Test Engineering (PTE) relevant topics for the segment PTE (Yield improvement methodology, data analysis).**:

- Provide consultation for problem solving as well as selection, deployment and adaptation of latest methods and tools to segment specific needs.
- Management of task forces within segment PTE, which is used to solve an acute & critical problem; provide on-site support whenever possible.
- Manage the PTE support via a Project Manager or Work package leader including proper project setup, planning and review with steering committee (depend on the topics or projects).
- Leading the topics via regular meeting with the stakeholders.
- Provide **1 **st **level technical on-site & off-site support based on the service level agreement between segment PTE and Cluster PTE.**:

- Contribute to boost further development of improvements in methods, processes and automation via experiences gained during work on operative topics in segments

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

- Bachelor’s Degree in **Electrical & Electronics Engineering**:

- Flexible and fast understanding of new issues and topics, strong problem-solving competence.
- Able to **travel on short notice for mid-term durations to different Backend manufacturing sites.**:

- Experience in managing large (key) projects, ability to facilitate and lead interdisciplinary & international virtual teams will be an advantage.
- Experience working abroad and sensitivity in understanding how to handle cultural differences/strengths.
