DESIGNATION : Database Administrator (Gov) RESPONSIBILITIES - Designing and implementing databases in accordance to end users’ information needs and views, overseeing the maintenance and security measures of databases - Enabling data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner - Minimise database downtime and mange parameters to provide fast query responses, protecting the database against threats or unauthorized access - Provide proactive and reactive data management support to users - Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity QUALIFICATIONS - Minimum 5 years of experience in database administration and database architecture design with MS SQL and Oracle database - Degree in Computer discipline or a related field. - Has experience in managing large scale database, and has performed data migration activities - Has relevant certifications from Microsoft or Oracle
