**The Challenge**
We believe in providing space for people to perform and grow their roles and experiences, so consider the following responsibilities as a starting point:
**Total Rewards**:
You will support driving forward positive change for DSM and all of its employees by ensuring smooth implementation of regional reward strategy, developing clear reward guidelines and processes to ensure an optimal return on reward in the region (across 14 markets in Asia Pacific including Japan and India). DSM’s Total Reward strategy is achieved via managing systemic programs. You will drive annual rewards cycle in the region as well as collect, analyze and report external and internal pay trends, initiate intervention measures or programs to drive DSM’s rewards agenda. For all activities you will also arrange communication and campaigning.
**Resource & Demand Planning**:
You will shape resource and demand planning to enable the success of the regional People Solutions Team by defining and taking ownership over the process and procedure for resource allocation. Activities include capturing capability requirements, analyses demand forecasts and translate insights to plan employee utilization, workload and review resource allocation on a quarterly basis to identify new demands and need for re-allocation.
**Other responsibilities**:
The members of the People Solutions Team contribute to regional as well as global projects and initiatives. Depending on in which People Solutions Team you will land and your individual development preferences, the above-mentioned responsibilities will be supplemented with other P&O activities.
**The Position**
As People Partner you:
- Support translating DSM’s Total Rewards strategic roadmap into relevant regional & business programs and initiatives together with the respective HR BP
- Provide relevant rewards knowledge and expertise to BG/Function stakeholders to ensure DSM attracts, retains and promotes an engaged workforce for the organization.
- Act as main contact person for regional team, ensuring they have the necessary tools and content to translate regional rewards strategy to their local needs and context.
- Pro-actively connect with HR BPs to support the development & execution of rewards change journeys of their businesses and regions
- Initiate and/or contribute to regional and global projects & initiatives in any P&O related field
**The Ideal**
- University Degree or equivalent by experience
- A learning and growth mindset and the desire for a broad development in the field of P&O. Enjoy bringing knowledge, experience and learnings to others while also enjoy taking on new areas of development yourselves
- Active developing your self-management
- Self-motivated and pro-active, with the ability to work well under pressure and with numerous and sometimes conflicting deadlines - Ability to create relationships based on trust and collaboration, from which to influence stakeholders
- Knowledge of key principles, trends and approaches in Total Rewards
- 6-7+ years of experience in rewards related area
- Excellent ability to work with multiple pieces of data to a high-level of accuracy. Attention to detail and a willingness to challenge inconsistencies or errors appropriately to ensure data integrity, knowledge of Excel and numerical ability
