We are representing a global Automotive Tier 1 Supplier (MNC) who has a huge R&D presence in Singapore in recruiting for their R&D Embedded Software Development team. This is a newly created role for a new Platform project.

**Agile Product Owner (Embedded Systems)
**Responsibilities**
- Managing software platform project teams across various locations globally
- Collaborate with customers and projects team and develop the roadmap and features required to meet customer needs
- Manage and prioritize the flow of work through program scrum.
- Assigns the roles to persons involved in the software platform project
- Drive the platform project team to success by bringing value and impact
- Monitors the qualitative development by implementing Build-In-Quality principles, processes, methods, and tools
- Maintains contact with the customer project and negotiates for budget, delivery timeline, resource allocation
- Moderate customer project meetings for platform requirements and issues
- Align with supplier for the requirements, delivery and bugfixes
- Synchronize with other telematics platform projects/ architects for the roadmap
- Reports projects status and align for the roadmap with Business Owner
- Ensures that a complete list of the modules and Module Responsible is maintained.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or comparable with minimum 8 - 10 years experience in Embedded Software Development with the last 2 years in a people managerial responsibility.
- Experience in managing globally distributed teams
- Strong technical leadership demonstrated in managing large projects
- Business-fluent English language skills (spoken and written)
- High operational readiness, flexibility and creativity
- Ability to make a visible big impact and act internationally as strong change agent
