Roles & Responsibilities

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead sourcing for the Logistics & Packaging categories. Plan and launch RFI/RFP/RFQ, and lead negotiations.
- Secure supplier selection and execute contracts to ensure commitment on cost, quality and delivery and mitigate potential risks associated with SLAs
- Drive cost reduction initiatives across the Logistics & Packaging category for improved commercials and SLAs
- Design and optimize the sourcing processes across Logistics & Packaging category to drive efficiency
- Manage risk by analyzing current/future market transport conditions and defining contingency plans to ensure critical supply needs are met
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key suppliers, providing high level of issue resolution where necessary (quality and service);
- Proactively engage internal stakeholders to align objectives, jointly develop category strategies and communicate market and sourcing information.

**Experience / Skills Required**
- Degree level educated in relevant discipline e.g. Business, Economics, Engineering, Supply Management or Operations.
- Minimum 5 working years exp. in Logistics and Supply management
- Advanced financial analytical skills and experience in enhancing value through negotiations.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with ability to extract key themes, determine root causes, develop creative solutions, and craft concise messages.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and multitask in a flexible, fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills is highly desired.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to the given audience, present information in a clear and concise manner.
