**ROLE**:

- Build and support for physical and virtual Server operating systems (HPE, Nutanix, Windows, VMware)
- Management and support of Active directory and associated services (DNS, Quest ARS, DHCP)
- Build and support of File services and its replication (SAN Storage, Windows DFSN/DFSR, Veeam)
- Build, manage and support of Windows clusters
- Perform Infrastructure morning checks
- Liaise with IT teams, business teams and vendors with regards to Infrastructure system implementations inc. high availability, back-up, monitoring
- Assist with projects when required:

- Branch office entity deployments
- Server storage migrations
- Infrastructure lifecycle management (provision / decommission)
- Manage and maintain inventory

**TECHNICAL SKILLS**:

- At least 8 years of experience on Windows Server and Storage domain
- Knowledge of ITIL processes
- Administer and manage servers (mostly Wintel), including server setup, software installation, performance
- Maintain virtual server environment consisting of VMware ESXi Server Cluster and SAN storage
- Maintain Core infrastructure services administration, experience and strong knowledge with:

- Active Directory and all related components like DNS, FSMO roles, GPO, replication
- File Services, DFSN and DFSR
- Windows Clustering, HA solution, storage replication technologies
- PowerShell scripting
- Conduct system health checks, generate health check reports, analyze system performance and make recommendations
- Manage backup and storage platform, and other business as usual Infrastructure related support
- Manage projects related to IT infrastructure upgrades and expansions
- Administer Cisco ToIP environment
- Tuning, hardware upgrades and resource optimization, perform system changes and upgrades
- Ensure hardware and software compliance with established standards, policies and configuration guidelines
- Work with IT staff in other locations on regional projects
- Develop and maintain inventory, technical documentation, configuration procedures and best practices
- Provide L3 level desktop support on issues that are escalated from L2 support team
