**What you will be working on**
- Assist the collection manager with the collection works with regards to artefacts including scheduling, space planning, artefact movement tracking, art-handling supervision, logistics and conservation arrangements, and maintenance of artefact inventory records in the National Museum of Singapore, Reflections at Bukit Chandu and the Changi Chapel Museum
- Manage the operations of the artefact stores at the museums such as control access, artefact inventory registration, environmental and pest checks and monitoring storage and material supplies
- Administration of incoming loans of artefacts, including execution of loan agreements, plan and procure services for logistics, photography, condition reporting and conservation
- Attend to customs / CITES / Arms & Explosives requirements and inspections, as well as couriering of loan shipments when required.
- Assist in matters relating to artefact acquisitions, donations, and outgoing loans
- Stock-take and inventory checks on heritage materials, artefact viewing and documentation sessions, artefact valuation / re-valuation and scientific testing etc
- Administration of procurement requests, permits, and licenses for artefacts, insurance, gift, and loan agreement matters

**What we are looking for**
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in the art and culture industry, especially in museums and galleries
- Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and presentation skills
- Willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends or holidays when required
- Able to plan and manage projects and have a strong sense of accountability and sense of urgency
- Able to work independently and as a team
- Proactive, meticulous, and resourceful
- Competency in office administrative functions, government records management and procurement procedures will be an advantage
