The Health Services and Systems Research (HSSR) Programme in Duke-NUS Medical School is a centre of academic excellence for research and education on the organisation, funding and delivery of health services. The programme’s focus is on public health and clinical service innovation in an increasingly complex and connected world. The major research focus of HSSR is the organisation and delivery of health and social services in the context of an ageing population. The research methods include decision science and simulation modelling, survey research, qualitative research, health economics, and implementation science and evaluation. We are also developing a range of education activities for health care professionals including, short courses, graduate certificates, Masters course and PhD programmes.
- Work with clinical/research teams to establish the socio-economic burden of antimicrobial resistance.
- Conduct, with supervision, a reproducible review of the socio-economic burden of antimicrobial resistance.
- Participate in the development and delivery of educational strategies with a particular emphasis on pedagogical innovation and curriculum enhancement, including contributing to workshops and seminars.
- Engage in some form of educational service activities such as curriculum planning and development, committee work, conference/symposia planning, etc. to support the development of students/adult learners.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor or Masters’ Degree in Economics, Public Health, Statistics or a topic relevant to health services research.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quantitative and/or qualitative methods research.
- Possess knowledge of health economics and/or public health.
- Knowledge of implementation science or knowledge translation would be advantageous.
- Prior experience working with infectious diseases and microbiology would be advantageous.
- Willingness to learn grant and manuscript writing and project management.
- Possess strong writing and critical thinking skills as well as good communication and presentation skills.
- A team player who is highly motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse workforce.
