Regional Medical Operation Lead

**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the Medical Affairs Operations Office and communicate key milestones to the Vice President of Medical Affairs.
- Review project plans with Regional Therapeutic Area Lead Team and Country Medical Affairs Teams regularly. Facilitate development of strategic and aligned medical affairs plans.
- Monitor key milestones within plans and develop contingency plans. Assess risks, identify issues, conflicts, or gaps across products.
- Lead medical operations project management for medical affairs activities involving regions and countries.
- Maintain budget forecast and resource utilization reports for stakeholders. Estimate and measure medical affairs budget. Provide updates on project milestones and overview of medical affairs activities for each product.
- Oversee contract and vendor management, including negotiation, performance tracking, and maintenance of master service agreements.
- Identify opportunities to add value in Medical Affairs. Ensure alignment of work to corporate Standard Operating Procedures. Define and maintain standards and processes of Project Management.
- Oversee the development of MSLs through a robust development program. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Marketing, Market Access, Legal & Compliance, Finance, and Regulatory. Support activities related to drug safety, including the reconciliation of Adverse Event Reports and assessing the state of governance of the overall PV function.
**Requirements**:
- Preferably MBBS, MD or Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences
- At least +8 years of experience in relevant roles in the pharmaceutical industry and significant knowledge of medical affairs in a regional role.
- Strong leadership skills demonstrated project management ability, and a positive approach in managing staff, vendors, and project related issues.
- Knowledge and experience with Scientific Communication, Medical Information, and Field Medical.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence non direct reports.
