Materials Planner

Materials Planner support the plant wide materials planning, coordinate and expedite, ensuring a steady flow of materials to achieve fulfilment excellence / on-time delivery for Singapore Repair Service Center. This role reports to GRSS Materials Manager and dotted line to Master Scheduler - Using key modelling and forecasting tools, monitor assigned Materials volume vs forecast to enhance fulfilment capability & capacity - Support timely repair demand assignment, ensure level loading and on time delivery for smooth job flow while optimizing inventory. - Support plant-wide materials input and output, inventory, on-time delivery metrics performance, system status update as necessary - Appreciate Yard Management strategies, standard work / daily management - Active participation in continuous improvement to execute efficient yard storage for incoming and outgoing boxing & packaging shipment - Execute strategies for inventory management to achieve inventory target, on time operation support - Support forecasting of materials to ensure appropriate re-ordering point. - Support warehousing performance through effective Goods Receipt & dispatching - Active participation in Safety & Quality Framework, Kaizen Events. - Assist in month-end and quarter-end closing Other continuous improvement projects and ad hoc matters - Diploma or equivalent with 2-3 years relevant experience - ITE Nitec with > 5 years relevant industrial experience - Experience with SAP system will be an added advantage - Familiar with Microsoft Excel - Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills - Able to work in a fast paced environment **Desired Characteristics** - Demonstrate analytical and planning skills - Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills - Knowledge of SAP would have advantage - Meticulous in documentations handling - Good time management and priority driven - Team player, Ability to meet objectives by engaging & influencing others across a matrix organization structure
