Assistant Manager, Stakeholders Engagement

A research-intensive public university, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) has 33,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students in the Engineering, Business, Science, Medicine, Humanities, Arts, & Social Sciences, and Graduate colleges. Sitting within NTU, NTU Entrepreneurship Academy (NTUpreneur) provides entrepreneurship education within the University and the region.
The Assistant Manager, Stakeholders Engagement will report and work closely with the Assistant Director to design, plan and organise impactful I&E events and activities such as roadshows, exhibitions, classroom information sessions, hackathons for NTU student community, recruit and engage NTUpreneur Students Ambassadors, plan and execute effective multimedia content marketing and communications strategies.
**Responsibilities include**:
**1. Lead and drive the planning and conceptualisation of outreach and student engagement activities and its implementation**
- Conceptualise co-curriculum programmes I&E activities and programmes with NTU community and strategic partners such as universities, national level entrepreneurship associations etc.
- Plan with external organisations to organise and coordinate the logistics, source venues and sponsorships to ensure its successful implementation.
- Facilitate sourcing and identify potential collaborators.
- Consolidate monthly inputs and update the I&E events calendar.
**2. Drive the recruit Student Ambassadors (SA), engage and collaborate with other student groups such to develop student leadership and a long-term and sustainable student engagement initiatives in a coordinated manner**
- Lead discussions and explore opportunities with students to co-organise activities
- Work towards a sustainable student engagement strategy by encouraging and developing leadership capabilities in students to lead in I&E initiatives and activities.
- Coordinate and facilitate students' partnership in I&E initiatives.
- Engage major student groups to participate major university's I&E activities, such as Welcome Week, NTUFest, Freshmen Orientation, Welfare Week etc.
**3. Lead in managing the operations of NTU Innovation Port at Gaia and engage students through a robust programme and facilitate students' entrepreneurial journeys by coordinating support such as mentorship and networking sessions**
- Manage and upkeep the space with Student Ambassadors and NTUpreneur team.
- Plan activities with major students' club and society, and provide support by linking them to NTUpreneur's network.
- Fill the events calendar at the NTU Innovation Port at Gaia to ensure vibrancy for effective student engagement.
**4. Lead the operations of the Mentorship Clinic, engage mentors and students for effective experience, review and work on improvement of mentorship experience at NTUpreneur**
- Promote campus-wide awareness on the Mentor Clinic.
- Maintain and manage mentors' duty schedules and ensure no disruptions to bookings.
- Facilitate mentors-students meetings.
- Gather feedback on services from mentors and students.
- Generate report on number of mentorship and quality of experience from students and mentors.
- Work on improving the mentorship experience.
**5. Plan, design and drive effective communications strategies to increase awareness of NTUpreneur and its academic programmes**
- Co-curate, edit and overseeing the implementation of effective marketing strategies, production of collaterals, corporate and student gifts, and large format print, videos for NTUpreneur.
- Analyse data from feedback channels and propose strategies to achieve conversions for example, number of enrolments to academic programmes.
**6. Lead and drive effective strategies developing digital content for social media and its update for NTUpreneur's website and social media channels**
- Perform webmaster's role to manage and develop NTUpreneur's website and digital channels, and ensure all content is updated promptly with appropriate and strategic branding and messaging.
- Strategise and plan social media calendar, including photography and videography and posts.
- **Requirements**:
- Degree in Education, Communications, Business or Entrepreneurship with at least 5 years of experience of proven track record in events management, writing, digital communications and marketing communications.
- Strong command of English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experienced with creating marketing campaigns.
- A self-starter who is creative and resourceful.
- Meticulous and attentive to details especially in proofreading, editing and analysis of data. Adaptable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
