**Admin Assistant (6 months contract) (Pasir Ris)**
**(Eldercare and Senior Centre)
**The Challenges**:
**Assisting the manager in**:
Programme Co-ordination
Providing logistic support for activities and programmes that focus on building the seniors’
self-help capacity
E.g., On-site active ageing programmes (Collaborating with external providers), organising and participating in community events and outings
**Administrative Duties**
Maintaining a daily register of seniors who participate in activities and programmes at the Centre
Maintaining data for submission
Assisting with money collection, issuing of receipts, maintaining petty cash and requisitioning of centre supplies
providing support to the centre cleaner to promote and maintain the cleanliness of the centre
Ensuring that centre maintenance tasks are done regularly, eg. Aircon servicing, LEW reviews etc.
**Volunteer Engagement**
Encouraging senior participation and volunteerism through promoting of senior initiated activities and ideas
Assisting the Volunteer Management Executive to engage volunteers to run programmes and Activities
**What it Takes**:
ITE diploma (With “N” or “O” Level qualifications)
Physically fit to assist with logistics during activities and programmes
Good interpersonal communications skills and a team-player
Proficient in Microsoft Office
