We are committed to redefining how our customers enjoy digital entertainment as one of the fastest-growing OTT services in Korea. **Role Overview** As the Engineering Manager - Content Delivery at Coupang Play, you will report to and work with the head of our Streaming Technology team to define the engineering vision and strategy for our content delivery infrastructure, enabling Coupang Play to deliver high quality video experience to our users for both on-demand and live video streaming. You will lead the team responsible for architecturing, designing, and implementing high-performance software solutions for CDN servers and operating multi-CDN based content delivery systems. **What You Will Do** - Build, scale, and grow a team of outstanding engineers to develop and operate a multi-CDN based content delivery infrastructure. - Develop highly available, highly scalable, and high performance distributed CDN caching solutions. - Design, develop and operate a large-scale multi-CDN traffic routing system with automatic traffic steering capabilities. - Work closely with strategic partners including ISPs, cloud providers, as well as CDN vendors. **Basic Qualifications** - A minimum of ten years of professional working experience in the content delivery or network engineering domain, including hands-on management experience. - A proven track record of leading and managing high-performance engineering teams. - Experience building highly available and scalable distributed systems. - Experience building and running CDN operating systems and cache solutions. - Experience planning and forecasting server and network capacity on a large scale. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field of study. **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience working with on-demand and live streaming video. - Experience working with ISP or IXP and building CDN systems or PoPs in a data center environment. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Korean. **Recruitment Process and Others** **Recruitment Process** - Application Review > 1st Virtual Onsite Interview > 2nd Virtual Onsite Interview > Offer - The exact nature of the recruitment process may vary according to the specific job and may be changed due to scheduling or other circumstances. **Details to Consider** - Coupang does not discriminate against disabled applicants or those with veteran status.
