Asean Government Sales Manager

**Responsibilities**:
- Forge Strategic Partnerships:Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in ASEAN government bodies, especially focusing on government CIOs, digital economy ministers, and chief digital transformation leaders.
Establish a strong network of regional partners specializing in digital government projects, including local consultants and system integrators with significant government connections.
- Drive Sales & Deal Strategy:Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand each government's specific digital transformation goals and pain points.
Design and implement customized sales strategies, demonstrating how our solutions address critical challenges and drive opportunities.
Lead negotiations and secure major contracts with government agencies, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes and compliance with regulations.
Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Technical Expertise & Solution Advocacy:Possess deep understanding of government app design, development, and deployment processes.
Proficient in national identity ID database systems and verification technologies.
Advanced knowledge of data collaboration platforms and their potential for inter-agency and enterprise integration.
Communicate the technical aspects of our solutions clearly and persuasively to non-technical audiences.
- Market Intelligence & Thought Leadership:Stay abreast of emerging trends and developments in ASEAN's digital transformation landscape.
Contribute to regional marketing and awareness campaigns targeting government audiences.
Keep informed about ASEAN's digital government policies and initiatives, advising stakeholders on relevant opportunities.
Deliver presentations and insights on industry best practices and the future of digital government, establishing thought leadership.
**Requirements**:
- 8-10 years of successful software sales and government project business development experience, with a proven track record of closing multi-million dollar deals.
- Demonstrated ability to secure complex software deals within the public sector, preferably across ASEAN.
- Fluent in both English and Chinese (written and spoken); proficiency in additional Asian languages (e.g., Thai, Vietnamese, Bahasa Indonesia) is advantageous.
- Extensive network and strong personal relationships within the ASEAN government IT ecosystem, particularly with local partners influencing government procurement decisions.
- Solid understanding of government app design and development lifecycle, national identity ID systems, and data collaboration platforms.
- Familiarity with ASEAN's digital government initiatives and transformation roadmap.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing and motivating teams to achieve ambitious goals.
Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to diverse work environments.
