Senior Specialized Consultant

This is a unique opportunity to join a well-estblished Global leader in Banking (Risk/Compliance/Regulation) Technology sector. RegTech solutions are experiencing phenomenal growth, with the majority Financial institutions citing a 10%-30% growth range.

This is a full time position (hybrid working model), based in Shenton Way, Singapore.

About the Role

As a functional consultant in compliance/regulatory within the banking sector, you will take responsibility for all the aspects of our customer projects during the software implementation and interfacing cycle. You will be responsible for the analysis of the customer’s requirements, the translation into (functional) specifications, the functional configuration of the system, as well as the evaluation and follow-up of the implementation. You will be the expert for our OneSumX compliance/regulatory solution, and you will advise and guide our clients during the implementation projects.

With your expertise you will drive the compliance/regulatory implementation projects and guide our clients with your specialized knowledge and experience.

You will participate in implementation projects by providing (functional) expertise through specialized workshops related to functional specifications and data requirements needed to implement our compliance/regulatory solution and related software components based on client’s bank portfolio

Work in international project teams within Wolters Kluwer’s professional Services organization
- Handle functional designs; tests and modify new and existing specific Regulatory Reporting solutions for customers
- Analyze regulators and customers specific requirements to adapt and configure OneSumX solution to match these requirements, document requirements according to Wolters Kluwer’s and clients’ standards
- Prepare and support/conduct client’s trainings
- Act as the functional expert contact point of the customer for functional and data related (content) questions:

- Work in multinational teams and providing functional knowledge tailor-fitted to our OneSumX suite for the banking sector
- Contribute to pre-sales and marketing activities such as product demonstration, RFI, RFP on request of the Professional Services director as well as address business and regulatory issues raised during meetings

About You

Education
- Bachelor degree (or higher) in Finance, Accounting, Banking or Economics
- Or bachelor degree (or higher) in IT, Computer Science or Engineering complemented with a strong experience in the Banking industry or Financial Servicing.

Experience and knowledge
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Banking or financial services area.
- Thorough knowledge of banking products and accounting
- Minimum one end-to-end implementation of Banking Solution in the capacity of a business consultant
- Fluency in English, written and oral

Nice to have:

- Experience in IAS/IFRS: PD/LGD modelling, ECL and disclosures
- Experience with bank accounting processes, general ledger and bank reporting
- Experience in implementing any market leading solutions on IFRS9/Accounting/General Ledger
- Fluency in other Asian languages (Indonesian, Malay, Thai, Mandarin/Cantonese etc.)
- Hands-on knowledge of SQL, SSIS, SSRS or any other market leading reporting tool
