Specialized Consulting Manager

The Consulting Manager role is within APAC’s Professional Services unit. The overarching objective of Professional Services is to successfully deliver quality and cost effective professional services to our clients. This means, supporting the implementation of the organisation’s Finance/IAS/IFRS solutions effectively and efficiently at customer sites.

This is a full time permanent position (Hybrid working), based in Shenton Way, Singapore.

About the Role

All Professional Services Consultants are expected to successfully lead and manage implement projects of Finance solutions in the APAC Region.
- Facilitate Project Initiation workshops
- Identify data sourcing requirements and data requirements
- Conduct data gap analyses
- Conduct interface mapping
- Create business requirement documents/functional specification documents as required
- Conduct functional training
- Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design testing plans.
- Support System Integration Testing (issue analysis and resolution)
- Support regression testing and User Acceptance Testing (issue analysis and resolution)
- Ensure effective client engagement and management

About You

Essential
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
- 8+ years working in a client-facing or consulting role or other equivalent experience
- Specialized depth of expertise related to technology implementation
- Wide range of experiences and advanced technical acumen serving as an advisor to management
- Experience working as a senior member or team lead on large, complex projects
- Strong understanding of best practices and how to differentiate software capabilities within a competitive market
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify innovative solutions
- Ability to drive projects forward while providing guidance to more junior members of the team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to maintain positive working relationships

Highly regarded:

- Experience in IAS/IFRS: PD/LGD modelling, ECL and disclosures
- Experience with bank accounting processes, general ledger and bank reporting
- Experience in implementing any market leading solutions on IFRS9/Accounting/General Ledger
- Fluency in other Asian languages (Indonesian, Malay, Thai, Mandarin/Cantonese etc.)
- Hands-on knowledge of SQL, SSIS, SSRS or any other market leading reporting tool
