**HR Coordinator**
**A Day in the Life**
This role will lead the recruitment and onboarding process for direct labor employees and provide administrative and clerical activities to HR to facilitate the efficient operation in the Manufacturing department. This role will provide support to HR, people managers and employees primarily in the hiring process, mobility, time keeping and leave processes. Resource is also expected to assist in daily office needs and manage company’s general administrative activities.
Direct Labor Recruitment:
- Lead the end-to-end process for direct labor hiring.
- Pre-screen employee referrals and direct applicants.
- Ensure accuracy of hiring data in Taleo.
- Improve efficiency of the hiring process by implementing process improvement.
New Hire Onboarding:
- Ensure a seamless onboarding process of new hires.
- Set-up, schedule and coordinate the requirements for the first day of the new hire with the hiring managers, training team, facilities team, HR etc.
Mobility Support:
- Responsible for monitoring and coordinate work permit renewal process including 6month medical checks as required.
- Ensure timely issuance and cancellation of work permit holders
- Partners with the immigration vendor for the smooth and timely arrival and repatriation process for work permit holders.
- Be well-adept of the work permit processes, requirements and legislations. Should be updated in any changes in the legislation/government guidelines pertaining to work permit matters.
Timekeeping and Leave Processes:
- Enroll the correct pay and leave plans for the new hires
- Manage all the leave and data correction requests of the employees and supervisors.
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of data changes in Kronos.
- Educate employees and managers on how to effectively and correctly use Kronos.
- Work with the MTM team for the production schedule and reflecting it accordingly in Kronos.
Other HR and Manufacturing Support:
- Compiling, maintaining good documentation and recording of hiring and onboarding and off boarding of employees.
- Process invoices and request for payments for various HR vendors such as recruitment agencies, immigration partners, health clinics, insurance companies, training providers, etc.
- Provide administrative assistance to the HR team as required in carrying out HR related activities such as but not limited to arranging logistics for trainings, employee engagement events etc.
- Provide support to the MTM team as required.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by the manager.
**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**:
- Require 1 to 3 years’ working experience in recruitment in a manufacturing environment.
**Nice to Have**:
- To be meticulous and confidential dealing with sensitive information, quality documentations and work procedures to be aligned with compliance, HR and manufacturing requirements.
- Experience in liaising and coordinating with internal and external customers. Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Familiar with MOM regulations, Foreign Work Pass Regulations/Procedures
- Knowledge of Good Documentation Practice (GDP) is a plus.
