Responsibilities

Administration of all SCSE Postgraduate Programmes (Research & Coursework) which includes but not limited to the following:

- Admissions, course registration and exemption, briefings, examinations, confirmation exercise, nomination of examiners, thesis submission, oral defence, Thesis Advisory Committee (TAC), Graduate Assistantship Programme (GAP) / GTH, compulsory seminar attendance, transferable skills workshops, vacation leave matters, postgraduate outreach and publicity, website content maintenance, overseas conference processing, research internship programmes, etc.
- Assist Assistant Chair (Graduate Studies) in curriculum & syllabi review and submissions.
- Planning of examinations timetable and management of the whole examination process.
- Prepares content for student handbooks, FAQs, instructions for students, policy documents, standard letters, work processes and timelines, standard and non-standard replies, checklists, forms, etc.
- Administration of SkillsFuture and initiatives by PACE etc.
- Assist in Research Integrity matters
- General counselling of students with problems
- Maintain and update related websites on a regular basis
- Maintain proper and organised records for all work documents.
- Work closely with NTU offices, departments and other schools for all postgraduate academic matters.
- Timely update and maintenance of all graduate students’ data in the SCSE and OAS systems.

General Administration
- Assist Assistant Chair (Graduate Studies) in the management of SCSE Graduate Club activities
- All other matters tasked by Chair, Assoc Chair (Research), Asst Chair (Graduate Studies) and Committee Chairs in academic related committees.
- To provide support to the Manager in all areas of work pertaining to Research and Graduate Studies, including data collation, statistics and reporting, ad-hoc research seminars and events, etc.
- To support the research team in managing research grants and projects as and when necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Min. a Polytechnic diploma or with 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an educational institution.
- Meticulous, with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills
- Good sense of initiative and positive working attitude
- Experience in processing large volumes of data accurately and generate management reports
- Ability to work under pressure with multiple close and tight deadlines.
