**Job description**:

- Collaborate with the Operations Team, Traders, and banks to handle guarantees, standby letters of credit, and letters of credit for import and export transactions.
- Ensure that trade product documentation complies with sales/purchase contracts.
- Verify and ensure the compliance of documents related to trade transactions.
- Monitor ongoing trades and take appropriate actions in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with different stakeholders to resolve discrepancies related to letters of credit (L/C) and other trade-related matters.
- Review payment requests for trade-related payments.
- Assist the Head of Finance in managing department activities related to Trade Finance.
- Work closely with Trade Finance team members to execute department activities effectively.
- Provide training and necessary guidance to newly hired Trade Finance Analysts, ensuring adherence to established processes.

**Requirements**:

- Min 8 years experience in Trade Finance in an MNC ; Commodities/ Mining/ Banks
- Possess a professional understanding of Trade Finance products and currency hedging, including related products.
- Demonstrate a general knowledge of financial terms and concepts.
- Have a basic understanding of the base metal/commodity handled by the company.
- Familiarity with UCP (Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits) and incoterms (International Commercial Terms).
- Conduct negotiations related to cargo shipments.
