A Trade Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire process of trade bills, including import/export documentation, payment collections and compliance with trade regulations. The jobs and responsibilities for a Trade Finance Manager are listed below:
1. Managing Trade Bill Documentation
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of trade related documents such as bills of exchange, letters of credit, invoices, packing lists and certificates of origin.
- Ensure all required documentation complies with international trade regulations and contractual terms.

2. Coordinating with clients and partners
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, vendors and financial instituations handling of trade bills.

3. Ensuring compliance with trade regulations
- Ensure all trade transactions and related documentation comply with local and international trade laws, regulations and policies.

4. Internal reporting and recordkeeping
- Review and comments on contracts
- Maintain accurate records of all trade bills, transactions and related documentation for internal auditing and compliance purposes.

5. Liasing with legal and finance teams
- Work closely with legal teams to ensure that all trade contracts, terms and conditions are correctly reflected in the documentation.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial records related to trade bills and payments.

6. Continuous Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline the trade bill management process and reduce processing time and costs.
- Implement best practices and new technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce errors in the handling of trade bills.

7. Training and Development
- Provide training to internal teams on trade finance processes, documentation and compliance requirements.
