We are seeking dynamic & talented individuals to join us in the exciting energy sector - to ensure a reliable and secure energy supply, to promote effective competition in the energy market, and to develop a dynamic energy sector.

- Policy Coherence and Innovation. Ensure consistency and coherence across policy-making in EMA, and assessing potential synergies and overlaps in our current and new policies. Also explore new policy initiatives that EMA should look into to keep pace with sector developments, both locally and globally.
- Climate change. Develop our climate change strategy for the power sector, and coordinate EMA's climate change measures to ensure we meet our objectives.
- Emissions standards. Develop and operationalise the imposition of emission standards on generators to drive uptake of more efficient generation technologies.
**Requirements**:
- Keen interest in energy issues and public service
- Analytical and critical thinking skills, with capability to weigh trade-offs/implications between policy choices and make strategic recommendations
- Competency in working with datasets and data tools (e.g. Excel modelling) to support policy analysis and recommendations
- Competent communication skills to present, convince and inspire
- Creativity to think outside of the box on solutions to address challenges, willingness to go into the details
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate with stakeholders
- Self-motivated, effective team player
