Singapore Time for Drama! Full time

We are looking for fantastic individuals to join us as Enrichment Teachers in drama & art.

This contract position (minimum one year contract) will require you to teach enrichment programs in preschools in Singapore.

Details are as follows:

- 2 hours a day only, 3 days week (weekdays only) - hours are in the afternoon, between 3-6 pm.
- Contract based, minimum one year
- You must have the following character traits:

- dramatic, energetic, friendly
- have initiative, is communicative, and a good command of the English language
- willing to learn, and humble to be taught
- committed to the children, to the programs, to the company
- enjoy working with children

Logistics:

- male & female welcome
- fully covid-vaccinated; to meet the requirements set out by ECDA
- MMR + Varicella vaccinated
- will need to have a medical check-up including an x-ray, plus measle/mumps vaccination (company paid, unless already completed)

Remuneration:
Three (3) month probation: $40/hour

After successful probation: $45-55 per hour - this will rely on performance and growth. Assessment will be done.

Must attend:

- 6 hour minimum class-sit in (unpaid) - practical training
- 12 hours program/curriculum training (unpaid) - theory + skill trial
- attend Open Doors for skill upgrading and consultation. There are 3 Open Doors a year: end of March, end of May, End of Aug.
- Prepare/setup for end of year art exhibition (if teaching the art program) or prepare for end of year drama performance (if teaching the drama program). These are standard for enrichment teachers to showcase the year's work.
- Successful staff may be awarded a certificate in teaching drama & speech to preschool children (free for staff, assessment required).
