Customer Engineer, Business Intelligence

Google will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require Google's sponsorship of a visa.

**Minimum qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience working with problem-solving tools or data analysis (e.g., SQL, Python, business intelligence/dashboards).
- Experience selling or supporting business intelligence tools, and using them to manipulate datasets and databases (e.g., Looker).
- Experience in a data analytics or data science client-facing role (e.g., consulting/sales engineering).
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin or Korean fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with Looker portfolio or similar technology.
- Experience in managing and delivering proof-of-concepts focused on the customer value provided by the solution.
- Experience responding to functional and technical elements of Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Experience in advanced data modeling and analytics, including analyzing data with SQL, Python, or R.

**Responsibilities**:

- Share business intelligence experience to support the technical relationship with customers, including technology advocacy, supporting bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and partnering directly with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to Google Cloud.
- Develop customized presentations, demonstrations and prototypes of our software to communicate use cases and value to the customer.
- Educate technical and architectural concepts to a variety of audiences, including developers, architects, IT professionals, customers, partners and cross-functional team members.
