**Job Summary**

The Asia Rates trading team is trading a wide range of product from government bonds to derivatives products. Due to growing trading activity, the team is searching a junior trader to help expand the franchise and increase trading capability.

**What is the opportunity?**

Based in Singapore, the Asia Rates trading team is trading a wide range of product from government bonds to derivatives products. Due to growing trading activity, the team is searching a junior trader to help expand the franchise and increase trading capability.

**What will you do?**
- Be the market maker responsible for pricing and trading US IR options, US IRS, Cross-Currency, UST and CAD Governments trading.
- Lead the effort, the region, from a Trading perspective to continually develop the regional US Treasuries, CAD Governments and derivatives platform.
- Develop the abovementioned business through client interaction and working with Sales staff to generate trade ideas.
- To help drive USD and CAD Rates trading capacity into the region.
- To establish good relationships with our counterparties and keep management abreast of any significant market trends and developments.
- Aid the generation of marketing and trade ideas for global use.
- Maximise and optimise internally generated flow.
- To contribute to the regional rates business yearly budget (Income, RWA, ROE).

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must-have**
- Prior experience as a market maker and risk taker
- G10 Rates market expertise
- Linear and non-linear trading experience
- Fast learner and good team player
- Strong IT skills

**Nice-to-have**
- EM trading experience a plus
- Knowledge of Asian clients
- Government bond expertise
