Singapore Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) Full time

**Job Purpose**
The individual will join FX and Rates trading team in SMBC APAC division, and be resposible for market making and risk management in Rates derivative products.

**Responsibilities**:

- To make a profit from managing SMBC clients’ transaction and hedge the position in interbank market
- To maximize SMBC clients’ Interest Rate Product transaction number and volume, and revenue for the team.
- To enhance the whole Treading Desk to provide professional service for SMBC’s clients
- To comply with all SMBC rules and compliance requirements
- To collect market information and share them not only within TDG but also SMBC colleagues

**Job Requirements**
- Good bachelor degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics or Commerce
- Knowledge of Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate Markets
- Knowledge of onshore markets and regulations in APAC region
- 5 to 15+ years experience in FX Rates as interbank trader
- Knowledge of Rates Derivatives Products
- Trading experience in interest rate products in major currencies
- Trading experience in EM interest rates products
- Knowledge of FX spot, forward and options (FX Trader)
- Good fundamental and technical market analytical skills
- Comfortable with data and model analysis
- Good team player with strong ethics
- Well read / interest in financial mar
