**What the role is**
- What the role is
The Department plans and implements the National Tobacco Control Programme through a multi-prong approach comprising public education, collaboration with partners and development of policies to support adoption of nicotine-free lifestyle. This is to achieve HPB’s vision of making Singapore a nation of healthy people, and itself being recognised as a local and international authority on health promotion.

**What you will be working on**
- You will play an active role in conceptualising, planning, coordinating, and evaluating public education and smoking/vaping cessation programmes to reduce the prevalence of smoking/vaping in Singapore. You will be involved in the following:
- Preventing the initiation of smoking and/or vaping among general population and vulnerable population such as youth;
- Educating, motivating, and assisting smokers to quit smoking and/or vaping.
- Lead in implementation of programs across digital platform and physical outreach within matrix organisation
- Monitor, evaluate program against corporate KPI, budget, operational risk, efficiency, service level for continuous improvement
- Develop and implement smoking/ vaping prevention and cessation programs expansion plans under the HealthierSG initiatives

You will be involved in fostering partnerships with government and non-government organisations as well as the private sector, to plan and coordinate programmes for specific target populations.

You will also be expected to assist Deputy Director, Substance Abuse Department in fronting Internal and external workstreams as required and guiding the junior colleagues.

**What we are looking for**
- Possesses relevant qualifications in / experience working in Public Health, Health Promotion / Communications, Public Policy, Programme or Product management or other related fields of study;- Possesses at least 5-10 years of working experience managing projects related to conceptualising and planning programmes, preferably with experience working with government entities, healthcare institutions and service providers;
- Possesses at least 3 -5years of working experience in monitoring and evaluating programmes or services;
- Exposure to digital product development will be advantageous
- Be able to develop and manage programmes and campaigns at a national level;
- Be experienced in communications and possessed good presentation skills;
- Possesses strong analytical & organizational skills;
- Be a good team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with people at all levels; and
- Be able to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
