SAP Senior Consultant

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **SAP Technical Expertise**:Utilize in-depth knowledge of SAP technologies, including ABAP programming, SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP Gateway, and SAP Cloud Platform, to design and develop custom solutions.
Provide technical guidance and support in all phases of SAP project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- **SAP BASIS Administration**:Lead SAP BASIS activities including system installations, upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensuring system stability, security, and performance.
Manage SAP system landscapes, including system monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting, to maintain high availability and optimal performance.
Implement and maintain SAP security measures, including user management, role assignments, and authorization controls.
- **Custom Development and Integration**:Design and develop custom enhancements, reports, interfaces, and workflows using ABAP and other relevant programming languages.
Implement integrations between SAP and external systems using SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, or other middleware technologies.
- **Performance Optimization and System Maintenance**:Perform performance analysis and optimization of SAP systems to ensure optimal system response times and throughput.
Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for system improvements, upgrades, and patches.
Collaborate with BASIS team to manage system landscapes, including system refreshes, client copies, and transport management.
- **Technical Leadership**:Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
Lead technical design workshops and provide recommendations for system architecture, customization, and integration strategies.
Collaborate with project managers and business analysts to estimate effort and resources required for technical deliverables.
- **Documentation and Training**:Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and configuration guides.
Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and support teams, ensuring smooth transition and effective support of implemented solutions.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP technical consulting, with expertise in ABAP programming and SAP development tools.
- Extensive experience in SAP BASIS administration, including system installations, upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in SAP Fiori/UI5 development, SAP Gateway, and SAP Cloud Platform.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Project management experience, including the ability to lead technical workstreams and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- SAP certification in relevant technical areas, such as ABAP development or SAP Fiori/UI5.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration projects and understanding of SAP best practices for S/4HANA custom development.
- Knowledge of emerging SAP technologies, such as SAP Leonardo, SAP Analytics Cloud, or SAP Data Intelligence.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
