**Roles & Responsibilities**

Responsibility:

- To be responsible for the procurement process like pre-qualification, sourcing, selection, negotiation and evaluation of vendors for best purchase with highest quality, reliability and service levels.
- Originate, Negotiate, finalize and maintain category contracts to ensure that sustainable partnerships are established with reputed vendors
- Responsible for vetting and ensuring that commercial terms and conditions are in accordance with Company Standards
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and reduce total cost of ownership for all realted and capex and opex spend.
- Establish and maintain supplier relationships, and facilitate periodic business reviews to continually identify process improvements and cost reduction opportunities.
- Prepare analyses of spend data and Implement Strategies to drive cost savings, growth and minimise supply chain risk.
- Involvement in continuous improvement of procurement process competency and information systems.
- Manage big capital spend projects from conception through implementation, including change management
- Consolidate and Manage internal spend and vendor base.
- Understand sourcing requirements, develop strategy and plan for category spend and vendor base.
- Manage increase in spend influence and spend under framework contract and ensure consolidation and reporting
- of such spend and potential savings for management reporting
- The role requires significant engineering acumen to identify areas for improvement and to generate original
- thinking in procurement and contracting process. The job holder is expected to approach tasks with creativity, flair and continual improvement.
- To work under the direction of his line manger, often without referral. Decisions are made in relation to specific
- situations and may be inherently complex in nature.
- The post-holder is expected to work as part of a larger departmental team.
- A level of supervision may be required in this role

**Requirements**:

- High level of competence in Procurement and Sub-contracting Management
- Broad awareness of all key engineering disciplines
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise workload with competing priorities
