**Project Management Specialist, Discovery Genomics**

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a qualified Project Management Specialist who has good experience with maintaining customer communications and work closely with internal stakeholders especially in the genomics field to facilitate a positive customer experience. The role demands a person with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task while working under pressure.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Be the point of contact for customers after order confirmation including project progress and feedback.
- Interact with customers to complete customer onboarding process for new customers and handle queries on shipment, handling, logistics.
- Work with different stakeholders to ensure smooth running of the online customer portal.
- Manage accurate project tracking and progress with the aim of ensuring services are delivered within the expected TAT.
- Communicate with customer for data delivery and/or reports to ensure project closing is fulfilled timely.
- Review and update customer-facing materials and commercial operational SOPs.
- Receive and direct customer feedback to appropriate stakeholders so that services can be improved.
- Perform any other reasonable duties or ad-hoc assignments as directed by line manager/ supervisor.
- In the discharge of your duties, you shall observe and comply with all regulations and directions from time to time made by the Company or given to you and use your best skills and endeavours to further the business and interests of the Company.

**Desired Skills and Competencies**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or Biomedical engineering (Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or similar discipline). Technical understanding of next generation sequencing is preferred.
- More than 1 year of proven hands-on experience in project management in the genomics, molecular biology, or molecular diagnostic arenas.
- Prior tech support and next generation sequencing experience is a bonus.
- Strong proficiency in written and oral English.
- Possesses logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with varied personalities.
- Ability to multi-task, and work under pressure highly desired.
- Highly motivated and adaptable to ever-changing client needs and expectations.
- Self-starter and strong team player that takes the initiative and develop ideas with the team.

**This position is based in Singapore.
