**Job Description
- Cook Supervisor
**Duties and Responsibilities**
1. Responsible for day-to-day kitchen operation to ensure consistency in food quality and freshness in accordance with the restaurant’s standard operating procedures and food safety and hygiene standards.
2. Setting up kitchen workstation with equipment and ingredients.
3. Handle daily kitchen operations (i.e. Cooking, Frying, Grilling) using various utensils.
4. Prepare, cook and serve a variety of items in accordance with menus.
5. Ensure general kitchen cleanliness, tidiness and safety, and hygiene in food preparation and storage in accordance with NEA guidelines.
6. Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
7. Train and supervise kitchen staff on prep work and food plating techniques.
8. In charge of stock inventories and supply management.
9. Schedule shift roster.
10. Ensure all staff under your control report to work punctually.
11. Other ad hoc duties assigned by Operation Manager.
**Requirements**:
1. Obtained Food hygiene certificate.
2. Proven work experience as Cook Supervisor or related position(At least 2 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position).
3. Flexibility to work during weekends and public holidays
4. Strong organizational skills.
5. Effective time management skills.
6. Conflict management skills.
7. Excellent leadership skills.
8. Good communication skills and Service Oriented.
9. Knowledge of a wide range of recipes and able to demonstrate good culinary skills.
10. Able to work under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging work environment.
