Singapore COMMONWEALTH BANK OF AUSTRALIA Full time

Primary focus is three fold:
1) Price making, risk management, marketing and growing the AUD/USD/Asia local CCY Denominated Credit product.

2) Credit Trading runs a global book model. As such you have to be competent and proactive across all the books that CBA provides liquidity in.

3) Actively engage with fixed incomes broader stakeholders to market and develop our credit offering.

The responsibility for the growth of our product and Client base lies firmly with both Sales and Trading at CBA.

**Financials **- Maintain and develop the Asia Local CCY business and support the AUD domestic and USD Asia IG business through a flow and relative value targeted approach to trading to achieve the goals outlined with your manager. The trader is also expected to fully engage and support the broader Credit and FI teams’ goals.

**Service**:

- Pro-actively market the Credit product and FI business to existing and new Clients. Trade with an intrinsic desire to create constructive product velocity. Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction / benchmarking (seen in Client surveys, Client management meetings, Panel Reviews.) Work to develop new and enhance existing e-delivery platforms. Targeting the correct clients through the right channels.

**Product**:

- Seek to expand the product offering within context of the Credit Trading and Bank’s risk appetite and direction. Develop close working relationships with the Banks Credit and Market Risk teams. Work with Syndicate to increase the number of deals CBA brings to market.

**People**:

- Work closely with Credit Trading team, learning new and enhancing existing approaches to marketing and trading. Support other team members. Again - develop close working relationships with the Banks Credit and Market Risk teams.

**Risk**:

- Adhere to all risk requirements - holding periods, drawdowns, single name & counterparty limits & overall risk appetite within the team. Risk is to be used efficiently and in sympathy with the broader Credit / FI team.

**Skills & Experience**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Financial Markets / Credit products.
- A broad spectrum of credit trading experience will be considered.
- An aptitude for business development.
- Self-awareness / adaptability.
- Very strong risk management skills / attention to detail.
- Superior marketing skills.

**Qualifications**
- An undergraduate degree
