Shield Job Description:

- Responsible for experience studies to support the review of actuarial assumptions and discovery of business insights including persistency and claims management.
- Produce monthly analytics of experience for business MI to be shared with Senior Management.
- Support the company’s various in-force management committees with actuarial data analysis and insights.
- Build and continually develop the actuarial data analytics capability to develop data-driven solutions to difficult business challenges and provide value-adding insights of our in-force portfolio to the business.
- Implement initiatives relating to the medical business.
- Provide support for the annual repricing exercise, or other projects where insights or data analytics relating to the medical business is required.

Group Job Description:

- Manage Group insurance pricing and product development activities. Ensure adequacy of pricing in accordance to authorization/approval guidelines.
- Manage reinsurance activities, including facultative arrangements and keeping track of facultative placements.
- Support Banca team and new partnership team in pricing and product development activities.
- Manage Pulse micro insurance pricing and product development activities.
- Quarterly and yearly reinsurance reporting.
- Maintain Group insurance quotation template and manual. Conduct sample checks on renewal quotations.
- Support Sales and Marketing and Business Relationship team on special quotations on benefits and features.
- Provide financial reporting in accordance to regulator’s requirements.
- Assist in data analysis for key projects/tasks.

Who we are looking for:
Competencies & Personal Traits
- Good technical, analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to work independently
- Good working knowledge of Prophet systems, hands-on experience on actuarial valuation data processing and management
- Self-motivated and outcome oriented
- Good communication skills
- Experience with Prophet model, data processing/conversion software e.g. SQL is preferred

Working Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in actuarial roles or positions

Professional Qualifications
- Qualified actuary from a recognized professional actuarial body

Education
- Degree in Actuarial

- English
