Assistant Manager

Your responsibilities and charter as Assistant Manager will include, but not limited to, the following:
i. Provide efficient and positively memorable service to the Company’s customers
ii. Work with CEO to formulate merchandising strategy and planning whilst adhering to the Company’s objectives.
iii. Work alongside the office team to ensure that commercial, and product ranges are bought and managed in order to maximize profit & sales.
iv. Train and develop all team members to maximize their potential and motivate them with strong desires.
v. Maintain awareness of competitor price points and a good understanding of the brand and product positioning.
vi. Monitor inventory, delivery, and reordering situations to ensure appropriate levels of stock are maintained across all designated categories, and responsible for merchandise allocations to the stores and coordination with stores and the Logistics team for stock replenishment issues
vii. Coordinate Weekly Meetings to devise and implement strategy to increase profitability
viii. Be the contact person for winemakers, follow up on allocations and annual shipments, and Adhoc communications, eg For winemaker visits in SG and events
xii. Be a positive ambassador for the producers and wines the Company represents
xiii. Provide customer support, recommendations, and troubleshooting as needed
xiv. Provide other related office duties that are in relations to customer service as needed
**Requirements**:
- 3 years full time working experience in the wine import, and distribution industry, with experience in sales roles or portfolio management.
- Bachelors Degree holder, major in Business Administration or Marketing related fields
- Prior wine knowledge such as WSET Level 3 certification and above
- Fluent in English and French language for effecive communication with overseas suppliers
