A*STAR Infectious Diseases Labs (A*STAR ID Labs) is seeking for a Research Officer to join us in our mission to be a leading centre of infectious diseases research. A*STAR ID Labs aims to develop a cohesive A*STAR response to drive and deliver translational infectious diseases research to better health and economic outcomes.
- Design and conduct experiments including data collection and analysis
- Summarize and present the data in lab meetings
- Develop new research techniques and approaches
- Collaborative spirit with internal and external collaborators
- Perform maintenance of inventory and procurement of laboratory consumables
- Ensure safe technical practices and procedures

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Immunology or related field
- 1 ? 2 years of relevant experience is a plus
- Willing to learn to work in a BSL3 facility
- Highly motivated and able to work independently
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Good spoken and written communication skills
- Must be comfortable to work with small animal models. Techniques that will be employed include cell culture, reporter viruses, CRISPR Cas9 editing, proteomics, transcriptomics, microscopy, western blot and molecular biology
