**Responsibilities**:

- **Market Research and Opportunity Identification**:

- Analyze oil and gas market trends, geological exploration data, and the asset status of potential target companies.
- Identify potential opportunities for mergers and acquisitions in the upstream oil and gas fields, understanding the reserves, technology, and production capabilities of target companies.
- **Strategic Planning and Analysis**:

- Develop strategies for mergers and acquisitions in the upstream oil and gas sector, ensuring alignment with the overall company strategy.
- Conduct asset assessments and risk analyses, evaluating the feasibility and value of target companies' production assets.
- **Negotiation and Transaction Execution**:

- Engage in negotiations with target companies and their shareholders, reaching agreements for mergers or acquisitions.
- Ensure transactions comply with regulations, assist in preparing relevant documents, and drive the execution of deals.
- **Technical and Engineering Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to understand the exploration and production technologies of target companies.
- Ensure the smooth integration of acquired assets, achieving the expected production efficiency.
- **Team Collaboration and Communication**:

- Collaborate with internal teams, including geologists, engineers, finance, and legal departments, to ensure all aspects proceed smoothly.
- Maintain good relationships with external consultants and partners.
- **Risk Management**:

- Assess and identify potential technical, environmental, and market risks, providing corresponding strategies for mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and understand legal risks associated with transactions.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in petroleum engineering, geology, business, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions within the oil and gas industry, particularly in upstream oil and gas fields.
- In-depth understanding of technical and engineering aspects, with comprehensive knowledge of exploration and production processes in oil and gas fields.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, effective in dealing with multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and legal requirements.
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills
