**About the Role**:
As a Food Service Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for guests, playing a vital role in creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere. You will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and ensuring that the dining area is clean and well-organized. You will also coordinate with the front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure that guests are seated promptly and efficiently.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that the host area is clean, well-supplied, and neatly organized. This includes dusting and cleaning the Mama Shop, magazine doors, and entrance display, as well as checking tables, chairs, and the floor for cleanliness and neatness.
- Regularly check that Popsicle Sticks are well stocked and available for guests.
- Provide concise information about the restaurant and assist with guest inquiries.
- Resolve guest complaints amicably and escalate any concerns beyond your control to the appropriate supervisor.
- Manage the reservation system and provide daily customer reports to the Manager on Duty (MOD) for schedule planning.
- Effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate any special events or dietary restrictions to the MOD, ensuring that the restaurant’s operations are aligned with guest needs.
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and ensure they are satisfied with their seating arrangement.
- Deliver the highest level of courtesy and hospitality to guests waiting to be seated, offering assistance as needed.
- Maintain a courteous and professional tone when answering calls, whether communicating with clients or colleagues.
- Stay composed and manage tasks efficiently during busy times, handling pressure gracefully.
- Support the restaurant floor with tasks like table resets, clearing plates, and glasses when needed.
- Assist guests with taking photos in the Mama Shop and ensure a positive experience.
- Thank each departing guest with a smile and make eye contact, ensuring they feel appreciated.
- Establish strong relationships with Managers, colleagues, and guests while contributing to maintaining a safe, efficient, and smooth-running restaurant environment
