**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**Position Summary**:
This role supports and carries out the implementation of programmes, activities and events aligned to the strategic direction of Samaritans of Singapore’s (SOS) vision and mission through internal and external communication and partnership initiatives.
Working closely with the Director of the Advancement & Planning (A&P) team in implementing all aspects of key internal and external communication, this role will support and drive awareness for SOS’s programmes and services in suicide prevention, intervention and postvention including publicity, events, talks, social media management as well as engagement programmes that are aligned with SOS’s brand and mission ‘To be an available lifeline to anyone in crisis’.
Coupled with strong proficiency and competencies in impact-driven, outcomes-based marketing communications, the scope of the role also involves developing and supporting relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners, steering the management of SOS’s owned and paid touchpoints, and developing compelling narratives to drive through fundraising and advocacy efforts.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
Working closely with the Advancement & Planning (A&P) team to drive communications and engagement in the following areas:
- Develop, coordinate and implement communications roadmap and plan for all internal and external marketing communication activities
- Ensure compliance and consistency of the agency’s corporate branding and positioning in all communication.
- Conceptualise and review internal collaterals including in-house newsletters, annual report and website development.
- Work closely with A&P team members to develop and analyse SOS’s digital initiatives on social media (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
- Develop, support and assess impact of partnership activities and engagement in outreach and advocacy.
- Work in tandem with A&P team members to develop and implement compelling narratives to achieve agency, brand and fundraising objectives while collaborating on operationalising major events to drive objectives set.
- Build and cultivate critical relationships with sectoral partners, influencers, advocates, corporates and other impact partners to maximise SOS’s mission and develop resources to drive awareness for the cause.
**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**:
**Educational Qualification**:
- Degree in Communications or Marketing
**Relevant Experience**:
- At least 7 years of relevant experience working in Communications or Marketing
- Experience in the Social Service Sector
- Basic understanding of the core services provided by the mental health sector in Social Service Agencies
