As part of the Global IT Procurement team, you will be responsible for **contracts regarding IT Services**, **software**, **and related services**. The goal is to optimize the sourcing of the assigned subcategories and product groups for goods and services to the satisfaction of all parties involved, in terms of price, timing and quality. In addition, you will be responsible for the strategic sourcing of projects including the professional vendor management of existing suppliers and potential new partners.

**YOUR JOB**
- Act as a first point of contact for the internal customers and suppliers for regional procurement activities
- Represent the needs of the internal client through administration of in-scope IT Service providers in close co-operation with the respective IT Service Manager
- Responsible for gathering and representing business and client requirements within the negotiations and contracting
- Execute strategic procurement processes, demand management and forecasting, formal tenders, evaluation of offers, contract negotiation and proposal of contract award and implementation
- Prepare contracts in collaboration with the legal department and other specialist departments, if required
- Support the Regional Head of Procurement in the delivery of procurement services
- Global Category Manager in the development of sourcing and supplier strategies
- Drive standardization and digitalization of procurement services
- Responsible for procurement Risk Management with category responsibilities
- Ensure global interaction and alignment within Munich Re Reinsurance
- Ensure your work is in line with the Company Procurement Policy and Guidelines
- Maintain centralised contract repository, completed contracts, SOW’s, addendum's for appointed sourcing categories
- Support additional procurement projects as required
- Support and proactively drive DEI & ESG procurement targets

**YOUR PROFILE**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or information sciences or equivalent experience
- 3+ years relevant procurement experience or proven track record in related roles
- Experience in sourcing projects in an international environment
- Strong interpersonal, facilitation, oral and written communication skills
- Project management skills and experience
- Proficient contract terminology and knowledge in developing alternative clauses where necessary in cooperation with the in-house Legal Departments
- Commercial mindset
- Target-oriented, highly motivated and willingness to perform
- Experience in negotiations
- Strong team player, also with the ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills and confident manner, absolute integrity
- Strong customer and service orientation, interpersonal and social skills, communicates proactively
- Proficient in MS Office
