The Global Security Organization provides industry leading security and privacy services to TikTok globally. Our organization uses four principles that guide our strategic and tactical operations. **Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the oversight and the strategy for the continuous development and enhancement of security posture validation, including active leading technical design/build/run development around platform and tools to automate security control validation
- Responsible for building and developing a team to provide adversarial emulation, purple teaming, penetration testing and code scanning across TikTok
- Construct data pipelines and lead systems/platform integration with various stakeholders such as security engineering, Governance, Risk and Compliance, IT engineering, and product engineering for efficacy data analytics and automation
- Participate as a key team member for incident response investigation and validation
- Build, monitor and maintain the team's goals, KPIs and strategy to ensure vision and alignment across the TikTok portfolio
- Build & foster cross-functional relationships throughout TikTok, including Engineering, DevOps, Legal, Privacy and Communication teams
- Manage the effectiveness of tooling, rationalizing tools as needed and identifying new tool needs as necessary
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Independent Testing & Validating team, including identifying new team members

**Qualifications**:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors’ Degree or industry equivalent work experience
- 10+ years applicable experience, preferably with experience in hi-tech, start-up or multinational industries.
- Experience leading teams of 15+ offensive cyber practitioners
- Experience in red teaming, penetration testing, vulnerability discovery, automated control testing and product testing
- Experience in managing DevOps or software engineering initiatives and teams
- Understanding of security architecture in hybrid-cloud enterprise environments at scale
- Experience in using big data platforms on-premise and cloud
- Preferred experience in understanding of data analytics, cloud technologies, big data, AI and ML space and tools
- Experience with industry control frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, CIS)
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills, in particular in leading or contributing to global and multi-functional teams
- Demonstrates excellent organizational direction, time management, problem-solving, prioritization, goal setting, leadership, motivation, negotiation, and interpersonal relations
- Demonstrates ability to quickly assimilate to new knowledge and technologies, and remain current on new developments in cybersecurity capabilities and industry knowledge
