**Introduction**
Senior individual contributor position with purpose of giving support and leadership to the Industrial Engineers functions.
Predominately the focus will be on the Core Industrial Engineering functions:
- Strategic and Tactical Capacity Planning Engineering
- System & Model Development
This position has high executive visibility - understanding requirements, executing work plans and communicating results is expected. The scope of involvement will range from daily factory execution, factory growth plans, capital budgeting, capital installation, cost control and productivity requirements.
**Your Job**
- Provide day-to-day leadership in execution of key initiatives in the functional industrial engineering areas.
- Coach junior engineers in execution of daily tasks across the core industrial engineering functions.
- Identify areas or improvement within the Capacity Planning Industrial Engineering functions and drive necessary enhancements.
- Drives Capacity roadmap that enables GLOBALFOUNDRIES to grow by X% in revenue and growth.
- Responsible for factory capacity planning.
- Complete capacity scenario analysis to identify performance requirements and/or future capital needs.
- Ensure execution of committed long-term growth plans and drive gap closure to commitments.
- Communicate and liaise with factory production planning and factory management on tactical factory loading commitments.
- Optimizing Capacity through Asset Optimization. E.g. tools loans, cross fab utilization, excess tool sale.
- Responsible for continuous improvements in capacity modeling capabilities as well as related global capacity reporting system. Liaison with corporate IE, other sites IE and systems group for modeling system changes.
- Development of campus level models for support of high-level long-term requirements and specific “black box” needs
- Define standard methods and practices across the IE organization.
- Perform feasibility study on various Inorganic capacity expansion scenarios with the optimum costs and achievable gross margins.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelor or Masters in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Science discipline, Other Engineering discipline will also be considered.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Minimum 6 years of Semiconductor manufacturing experience in the field of Industrial Engineering.
- Proficiency in understanding information systems and data management techniques.
- Proven track record in similar capacity.
- High proficiency in MS-Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project)
- Proficiency in data management, Visual Basic, Java, C++, SQL etc will be advantageous
- Good communication skills and leadership qualities are essential.
- Able to work within a team structure and across organizational boundaries.
- Able to communicate effectively with multiple engineering disciplines within Semiconductor Manufacturing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
