**Position Overview**:
The Senior Floor Supervisor in a restaurant is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant floor to ensure smooth and efficient service. This role involves managing the front-of-house team, maintaining high customer service standards, and ensuring the overall guest experience is exceptional. The Senior Floor Supervisor also plays a key role in training staff, handling customer concerns, and coordinating with kitchen and bar teams.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Staff Management**:Supervise, mentor, and lead the front-of-house team, including servers, bartenders, and host staff.
Assist in recruiting, training, and scheduling of staff to ensure adequate coverage during shifts.
Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve staff performance and morale.
Ensure staff adhere to company policies, safety standards, and customer service protocols.
- **Customer Service**:Ensure an exceptional dining experience for guests by providing excellent service and resolving customer complaints or concerns promptly.
Monitor guest satisfaction through direct interaction or feedback, making necessary improvements where required.
Take action to address and resolve customer feedback or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- **Operations Management**:Oversee the daily floor operations, ensuring smooth coordination between the front-of-house and kitchen staff.
Ensure all areas of the restaurant are clean, organized, and ready for service.
Monitor restaurant reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and reduce wait times.
Ensure that the restaurant operates according to health and safety regulations and company standards.
- **Sales and Revenue Generation**:Monitor sales trends and work with the management team to implement strategies to improve sales, promotions, and guest retention.
Ensure that upselling techniques are effectively utilized by the team to increase average check size.
Help ensure that inventory and stock levels are managed effectively during shifts, reducing waste and loss.
- **Team Collaboration**:Foster a positive and collaborative environment between the front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
Participate in regular team meetings to discuss operational issues, promotions, and opportunities for improvement.
Report any operational issues or maintenance needs to the restaurant manager.
- **Administrative Tasks**:Prepare shift reports and assist in end-of-day reconciliation for cash handling, tips, and credit card transactions.
Assist in managing staffing schedules, payroll, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
