**Job Description: Floor Supervisor**

**Position Overview**:
We are in search of a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to step into the role of Floor Supervisor. As a pivotal member of our team, you will shoulder the responsibility of maintaining exceptional service standards for our guests, ensuring a positive and enjoyable overall dining experience. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and adept multitasking abilities will play a crucial role in the overall success of our restaurant.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Team Leadership**:

- Provide guidance and leadership to floor staff, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Foster a positive team culture and set performance expectations.

2. **Operational Oversight**:

- Monitor and manage day-to-day operations, maintaining efficiency and adherence to standard procedures.
- Address any challenges related to workflow, equipment, or personnel.

3. **Communication**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact between upper management and floor staff.
- Effectively communicate expectations, updates, and changes to the team.

4. **Problem Resolution**:

- Proactively identify and address operational challenges, collaborating with relevant departments for solutions.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to service, ensuring guest satisfaction.

5. **Training and Development**:

- Provide on-the-job training for new staff members.
- Identify opportunities for skill development and recommend training programs.

6. **Resource Management**:

- Efficiently manage resources, including equipment, supplies, and personnel.
- Optimize resource allocation for smooth operations.

7. **Performance Evaluation**:

- Conduct regular performance reviews for floor staff.
- Provide constructive feedback and set performance improvement goals.

8. **Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any concerns.

9. **Social Media Management**:

- Manage and maintain the restaurant's social media accounts.
- Create engaging content and promotions to enhance the online presence and attract customers.

10. **Cleanliness and Maintenance**:

- Ensure the cleanliness of the outlet, including sweeping and mopping as needed.
- Coordinate with staff to maintain a clean and organized environment before, during, and after service.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
1. Proven experience as a floor staff or in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.

2. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with diverse customers and team members.

3. Strong multitasking abilities, thriving under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

4. Exceptional customer service skills, including active listening and effective problem-solving.

5. Attention to detail and composure maintenance during busy periods.

6. Basic math skills and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems for order processing and payment handling.

7. Knowledge of food and beverage safety regulations and best practices.

8. Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

9. Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
