**Job Summary**:
The Human Resources Director will serve as a trusted HR advisor to Pinkerton's Asia-Pacific field offices regarding but not limited to; employee compensation and bonus plans, employment contracts, benefits, recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes, employee training, and payroll. The Director will partner with Pinkerton's corporate Human Resources and Talent Acquisition teams to ensure the delivery of consistent global policies and programs with localized customization.

**Essential Functions**:

- Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Advise employees and management on the interpretation of multi-national human resources policies, programs, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations;
- Partner with Corporate Human Resources and Talent Acquisition to develop and deliver policy/program training.
- Provide guidance and day-to-day management of assigned HR team members;
- Coach/mentor team members and provide regular performance feedback.
- Provide on-going skill development and training.
- Partner with Corporate Human Resources to recommend and implement appropriate employee compensation, bonus plans, and employment contract templates.
- Assist with employee changes/terminations, prepare necessary paperwork, and update personnel files.
- Coordinate country-specific mandated benefits, manage timely communication with employees, and maintain documentation as required by applicable laws/regulations.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality in dealing with all department-related tasks, employee issues, and/or Company information.
- Assist Corporate Human Resources in the creation of country-specific Pinkerton Employee Handbooks and policy documents;
- Update, as needed, based on changing laws/regulations.
- Partner with Corporate Talent Acquisition regarding country-specific new hire workflows and ATS (Applicant Tracking System) processes;
- Coordinate local college/university and industry-specific recruiting projects.
- Recommend local job boards for potential ATS integration and long-term collaboration.
- Implement and manage the PDP (Pinkerton Dedicated Professional) retention program.
- Review, recommend, and implement local payroll solutions.
- Assist Corporate Human Resources and Talent Acquisition with special projects and reporting requests.
- All other duties, as assigned.

**Education, Experience, and Certifications**:
**Competencies**:

- Multi-national human resources management experience preferably within Singapore, China, Japan, Philippines, Indonesia, and/or Thailand.
- Corporate benefit, compensation, compliance, and policy administration experience.
- Fluent written and verbal skills; English
- Self-starter and results driven.
- Able to multi-task and manage competing deadlines/priorities within a fast-paced setting.
- Strong project management skills.
- Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
- Able to maintain professional composure when dealing with emotional or confrontational circumstances.
- Serve as an effective team leader.
- Computer knowledge; Microsoft Office.
